***Sad news. Due to an underwhelming amount of interest for now… as well as an incredibly hectic schedule of the founders we are having to postpone this contest indefinitely. We will have this contest in the future on some level… entry may be greatly reduced or even free. So, be on the lookout for more info in the coming weeks. We believe in this cause and want to help in any way we can.

 

 

Our goal is to give filmmakers and actors alike a spotlight to showcase their talents while giving to a great cause at the same time. We are holding a filmmaking competition, where we require that you make a film specifically for the HO/PE Film Challenge.

 100% of registration fees will go to the American Cancer Society.

 Following are all the important highlights, more detailed information will come in the next couple of weeks. If you have questions please email us at hopefilmchallenge@gmail.com

• $100 Registration fee goes 100% to American Cancer Society
• Registration deadline is TBD.
• Requirements will include a specific line of dialogue that each film must contain and you will have 5 different genres to choose from to make your film.
• TBD all films must be uploaded to You Tube by 1159PM EST with the tags HOPE FILM CHALLENGE, ACS, American Cancer Society, Official Entry.
• A panel of experts will then review all submissions and pick 3 winners based on several criteria including cinematography, acting, lighting, originality, best use of required elements, creativity. The top 3 film’s order will be decided upon by a combination of 50% judges order and 25% rating and 25% views on You Tube.
•  TBD the winners will be announced on the website which will feature a 30-minute tv show highlighting the 3 top films and some of the other entries.
